About the Role:

As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be in charge of gathering and consolidating performance data across all owned, earned and paid mediums of digital marketing, and creating data models to analyze the data to extract actionable insights. You will be required to establish and manage the data warehouse and visualization platforms for enabling data-driven marketing decisions.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Identify the right KPIs to measure the impact of digital marketing across Columbus
  • Establish closed-loop analytics across sales and marketing to understand how marketing activity turns into leads and customers, and continually refine the process to improve decision making
  • Proactively identify business improvement opportunities through analysis of available data to increase the number of marketing-qualified leads
  • Leverage data to understand paid marketing channel performance in depth, identify areas of growth and support campaign and automation teams to implement changes for growth
  • Extract and analyze data to interpret impact of tests on marketing performance (e.g. cost per lead, customer lifetime value)
  • Provide analytical framework to gather, consolidate and analyze data from all digital channels using data warehousing and visualization
  • Communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner with both technical and non-technical audiences to influence the digital marketing strategy.
  • Create reporting frameworks and generate digital marketing impact reports on a regular basis and share them with key global and BU stakeholders

Desired Skills & experience:

  • A Ph.D. or degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or other qualifying fields
  • At least 5+ years of work experience in analytics, performance marketing, e-commerce, or other quantitative/data-driven field
  • Knowledge of advanced statistics, modeling, visualization knowledge. Experience in advanced quantitative analysis including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analyses.
  • Knowledge of database language (e.g., SQL) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python). Experience with Hadoop infrastructure
  • Comfortable working with very large data sets. Familiarity with database modeling and data warehousing principles
  • High level of curiosity in solving complex business problems and a passion for delivering actionable insights
  • Hands-on experience in paid search or other digital marketing channels highly desirable.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders
  • The individual will need to be hands-on since this is a strategic build from scratch job
