It is always with good intentions that we make new year’s resolutions, but now’s the crucial time where we need to really support our goals to keep them from being dropped from our to-dos.

This includes those plans to increase your Microsoft Dynamics GP knowledge—and what better way to help this than with Columbus’ onsite training classes!

Local users to the Houston and Phoenix areas can sign-up for a variety of different classes all focused around GP. Attending a class gives you the chance to learn from one of our experienced consultants in a classroom setting at a reasonable rate. You can even earn CPE credits!

A few of our upcoming March classes include:

Accounts Payable

Phoenix, March 5th
Houston, March 11th

The Microsoft Dynamics GP Payables Management course examines the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter vendor invoices and process checks. This course also shows how to perform additional functions including adjustments, prepayments, month-end closing and cash flow control.

Management Reporter

Phoenix, March 6th and 7th (2-day class!)
Houston, March 19th

Gain the knowledge and skills to build basic and advanced financial statements using Management Reporter. Management Reporter is a financial reporting and analysis application to replace FRx Financial Reporting. Management Reporter retains many elements of FRx but is built on SQL architecture that provides greater scalability and reliability for customers.

SmartList

Phoenix, March 19th
Houston, TBD

This hands-on class explores SmartList, a great inquiry tool in Microsoft Dynamics GP that can be used to access data. SmartList uses sets of predefined search criteria. The user may create an unlimited number of searches or views and save them as “Favorites” in the system. SmartList also allows you to access other Microsoft Dynamics GP windows related to the data contained in your search. Additionally, data collected using SmartList may be exported to Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel for further analysis.

Take your Dynamics GP abilities to the next level and enroll in one of our many classes!

Competitive advantage is the outcome of companies making better decisions faster than others. It's an edge organizations can garner over their competitors by doing just one thing—control their data to draw meaningful insights from it.
Not knowing the cost of a project, be it internal or external, can be vexing—a problem that originates from the ever-evolving needs of project deliveries. Keeping track of these needs, reporting them and analyzing their eventual financial implications requires a specialized type of accounting, better known as Project Accounting.
Microsoft Dynamics GP began its life as an accounting package from Great Plains Software before it was acquired by Microsoft in 2000. Since then, its evolved to a web-enabled application that now goes far beyond its accounting roots. It’s a tried-and-true platform run by tens of thousands of organizations. But many companies are considering migrating to the cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, GP’s successor ERP product.
