Columbus is looking for an exceptional customer engagement professional to manage Columbus’s engagement and relationship with chosen clients. Account Management function in Columbus is responsible for relationship management, business development, account operations and customer satisfaction. The mandate is to efficiently deliver and grow the business with our clients in line with the strategic & operational goals of the organization.


The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Be the primary point of contact for client.
  • Own the process of responding to various business requirements and opportunities with the client within the SLA prescribed.
  • Co-ordinate with Columbus BU’s for sourcing the team members to fulfil the client requirements.
  • Own and Co-ordinate the execution of ‘Lead to Order’ process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow up and communication.
  • Drive contract management with our clients – including negotiation for rates and contract terms.
  • Drive new business development in the account and take ownership for account growth
  • Responsible for preparing internal reporting for communication to internal stakeholders.


  • A Graduate degree in any discipline, IT background is preferred.
  • Master degree, in Business and Administration, or similar is strongly preferable (commercial and IT in combination is an advantage)


  • 10+ years’ of total experience within IT Services industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (managing customer accounts in an IT Services Organization)
  • Experience of customer facing / business development / sales roles
  • Experience of working in global organizations with cross-cultural exposure
