Columbus CEO Thomas Honore publishes guide about disruption

Disruption hits all industries, from free newspapers, car sharing and low-cost telecommunications. We all know examples from Airbnb and Apple, but disruption is not just something from Silicon Valley; it happens everywhere. Columbus’ CEO Thomas Honoré is co-author of the book Disrupt or die, which is released on May 9.

”Disrupt or die” is a guide to the challenges of digital management that many executives face today. The book guides business leaders safely through disruption and provides insights and vision on the matter with lots of examples.

Thomas Honoré is co-author of the book, and uses his many years of top management experience in the technology and consulting industry, including Columbus, to help other executives not just getting safely through disruption, but actually turning disruption into a business advantage.

“Disruption as a concept is not new. What is different these years is the pace of change, the greater scale, and that it’s all driven by technology. This means that any executive must have a plan for how they meet the digital opportunities and threats, “says Thomas Honoré.

The biggest threats to businesses today come from globalization, sharing economy and digitalization. Disruption can be described as an externally imposed extreme change which creates new competition. In brief, disruption is a fast and life-threatening change of companies’ business conditions – often through digitization.

As a business leader you can turn disruption into your advantage. In the guide you can read how.

"Disruption or die" is only published in Danish. You could get an excerpt of the book in English here. ERP at go-live ebook CTA
