One North Star: Designing Digital Experiences for Humans and AI

  • A North Star digital experience gives an organisation a shared why at a moment when customers aren't the only ones navigating it. Columbus shows how to turn customer intent into real choices across experience, content, data and technology - plus a live conversation with customers adopting the approach now.

What you'll take away:

  • A practical framework for defining your own North Star digital experience
  • What changes when you design for both humans and AI, and what doesn't
  • How that vision translates into decisions on journeys, content, data, search, personalisation and experimentation
  • Where Optimizely and Opal plug into the plan
  • Honest lessons from customers already moving from strategy into delivery

The questions we hear most from digital leaders right now are

"How do we design websites to serve both human users and AI users? and How can I deliver personalisation on a truly one-to-one scale?

How can we help:
Whether you’re an existing Optimizely users looking to get more out of your investment in the platform, or consider whether Optimizely is the right digital experience platform, experimentation and AI tool for your business, we’re here to help.

Here are some the areas we advise, design, implement and optimise Optimizely solutions around:

  • Agentic commerce and AI orchestration
Getting ready for AI-driven content and product discovery and buying, and connecting systems so AI delivers measurable business outcomes
  • AI-ready content operations
The product and data foundations you need to have in place such as PIM and content supply chain that make agentic CMS work
  • Experimentation and conversion rate optimisation
How to leverage UX, customer insight, analytics and continuous testing to increase online revenue and drive CLV
  • Personalisation across the journey
Delivering true one-to-one personalised experiences across every customer touchpoint
  • Unified commerce for B2B and B2C
Connecting inventory, fulfilment, customer data and operations
  • Optimizely roadmap and advisory
Aligning people, business and customer needs, with the capabilities of the Optimizely platform
  • Digital maturity assessments
An honest benchmark of where you stand and actionable recommendations

  • Toyota Material Handling Europe's (TMHE) e-commerce journey started in 2016 with a very limited product range
  • Today, TMHE's web shop covers all European markets where the company has subsidiaries
  • In the web-shop, customers can find new trucks, configure trucks, buy used trucks, rent trucks and buy spare truck parts
  • During 2021, a customer portal was developed to give existing customers even better possibilities for self-service, including access to different reports related to their fleet, such as orders, usage of trucks and more.
