Elkem together with their strategic and operational IT-partner Columbus (former iStone), supports the daily operations in the ERP system Infor M3 and related applications in addition to continue implementation of M3 worldwide.
Through the last eight years starting with Elkem Solar continuing with a global roll-out project from 2012, implementing Infor M3 has been one of the top priorities for Elkem IT, establishing a global ERP-platform for now 16 plants and 14 sales offices/ admin units using M3 actively for their daily business.
There are now 700 full time M3 users and 600 with limited access across 15 countries. Elkem and Columbus have from the start established a professional project team implementing M3 with a standardized template solution suited for all sites giving the possibilities to setup standardized master data for BI-reports to be used across all divisions in Elkem.
The latest roll-out project for M3 was completed in Paraguay May 2019 in just seven weeks from the kick-off to the go-live. This shows how established the M3 platform and the global organization has become.
