Cloud ERP projects are far-reaching – even transformative. Because of that, careful planning is required. A cloud ERP project benefits your team in direct proportion to their understanding of what’s in it for them.

Columbus will dive into the change journey required to transform at the upcoming 2023 Community Summit North America, Oct. 15-20, 2023, in Charlotte, N.C. Community Summit provides months’ worth of Microsoft business applications training and education in five days by expert users, Microsoft leaders, MVPs and Partners such as Columbus.

We’re excited to contribute to this popular event.

The session, “Mastering Change: Inside Nexa Manufacturing Before, During and After Implementation,” will be Thursday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. presented by: Paul Gomez, Columbus US CEO, Michael Simms, Vice President, Digital Advisory Practice, Jaylene Kneram, US Head of Projects, PMO Director, and Mark Muskin, Customer Operations Manager.

During the session, we’ll embark on a journey alongside the fictional Nexa Manufacturing – a combination of Columbus clients and our experiences alongside them. The voyage will unfold through the three distinct phases of the company’s Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management implementation timeline.

We’ll share the challenges and triumphs of Nexa Manufacturing as they navigate their transformative project.

We’ll cover these three phases:

Before: Strategic Planning – Understand the critical elements involved in planning. This includes assessing data-migration requirements from legacy systems, customization vs. standard functionalities, and potential roadblocks that can affect the successful implementation of D365.

During: Execution Excellence – Gain insights into effective execution. We’ll emphasize the importance of effective communication, user training and feedback loops, as well as tools like Columbus’s Quality App to address emerging challenges and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

After: Post-Implementation Optimization – Grasp the nuances of the post-implementation phase. We’ll focus on the role of the Application Support Manager, including evaluating and optimizing application support, managed services offerings and preparing the organization for a seamless transition to regular Dynamics 365 updates and ongoing cloud-based operations.

Just like Nexa, every organization stands at multiple crossroads throughout their transformation journey. But, with the right partner and informed decisions, the path can lead to unparalleled success. Our Columbus team brings a diverse set of skills and are available to connect during the conference.

Our expert-led sessions hosted by Juanita Schoen, Michael Simms, and Jason Wilson will guide you through:
