Columbus has appointed Chris Alagna as CEO of its US business

Copenhagen, Denmark — 22 May, 2019 —  Columbus has appointed Chris Alagna as CEO of its U.S. business. Chris spearheaded major strategy and business vision in his previous role and has a solid understanding of digital transformation. He will look to help Columbus U.S. become a market leader in business-led digital transformation. He will assume his role as CEO in Columbus U.S. on May 20, 2019.

Chris is expected to grow the U.S. business by focusing on strategies to drive increased customer value through digital leadership, improving the customer experience and creating the best place for people to work. He is a strong communicator with deep leadership capabilities.

Chris Alagna has more than 20 years of experience from the consulting industry with leadership positions at Hitachi Solutions, Avanade and IBM. For the past 13 years he has held different leadership positions in Hitachi Solutions, most recently as senior vice president and general manager for U.S. West and consulting leader for North America. Prior to this position he held positions as senior vice president for North American Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and vice president for the Dynamics AX sales unit.
