Columbus, the global digital business services provider, today announced Mary Hunter, Managing Director of Columbus UK, has won the IAMCP Women in Technology Leadership award at the Microsoft Inspire event in Las Vegas.

The Leadership award, presented to Mary after an extensive judging process, recognises outstanding leadership within both the Women in Tech community and the winner’s own organisation, demonstrated by notable accomplishments and initiatives created to promote Women in Tech.
Columbus operates a variety of UK initiatives to give back to the community and help promote technology careers among young girls, including donating laptops to schools, actively promoting the establishment of ‘Code Clubs’, and hosting visits for classes to learn about technology and how best to pursue a career in the sector.
The company has demonstrated an enduring commitment to Women in Tech initiatives within Microsoft circles – most recently hosting and presenting at the Summit EMEA Women in Technology Luncheon in Dublin.
