Columbus has appointed Ole Fritze as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for leading the overall growth strategy and business operation

Columbus announces that Ole Fritze is appointed Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.

Ole Fritze has been with Columbus for the past four years in the role as Senior Vice President for Columbus’ services business, where he has delivered great results, among others doubling the service business, building Columbus’ comprehensive solution portfolio – the 9 Doors to Digital Leadership, and tripling Columbus’ global delivery capacity.

In his new role, Ole Fritze will lead the overall growth strategy, covering marketing & sales, development and progress of Columbus’ business operation.

“Ole Fritze is an accomplished and seasoned senior executive who has delivered exceptional business achievements. I am very pleased that Ole Fritze has taken on the responsibility to lead Columbus’ growth strategy”, says Thomas Honoré, CEO in Columbus.

Ole Fritze has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry with a deep insight into how a services company operates and a relentless focus on improving quality, customer experience and value creation for Columbus’ customers.

In today’s complex business and IT landscape, companies increasingly seek fewer, but more strategic business partners to assist in the strategic development of digitization. Therefore, an end-to-end solution portfolio that addresses the customers’ entire demands ranging from analytics over customer experience solutions to application and infrastructure management are essential for companies in order to reach their goals for a sustainable and growing business.

Ole Fritze has led the development of Columbus’ end-to-end solution portfolio “9 Doors to Digital Leadership” and will lead the continuous improvement of Columbus’ business towards digital leadership, better quality, higher customer satisfaction and happy employees.

“I am excited to take on the COO role in Columbus. Columbus is among the leading providers of digital business solutions globally and is well positioned to expand our market position globally helping customers around the world transform, maximize and futureproof their business digitally,” says Ole Fritze.
