Columbus is organising two roundtable discussions, in partnership with The Manufacturer for industry leaders from different businesses across the UK to come together to discuss ideas, and share challenges, but also to share their solutions.
The two dinners, being held on the evening of 29 June in Birmingham, are focused on the challenge of using data and insights effectively to create competitive advantage for UK manufacturers.
Technology is having a huge impact on every industry at the moment – and food and discrete manufacturing aren’t an exception. The roundtables will discuss just how these companies are using different technologies for their own benefit or highlight areas that they could be used more.
One area of focus is how to ensure manufacturers are compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and sharing knowledge about how to be prepared for changes to the regulatory environment.
