Columbus has signed a global partnership agreement with Medius, a leading global provider of cloud-based Accounts Payable (AP) automation solutions.

As part of this partnership Columbus will sell and deploy the MediusFlow AP invoice automation solution to its customers around the globe.

Columbus and Medius have a longstanding relationship where Columbus has sold MediusFlow to a smaller market segment in selected geographical regions. The new agreement takes the partnership to the next level by increasing the focus on MediusFlow to become part of Columbus’ global solution and services portfolio.

“MediusFlow fits perfectly into Columbus’ comprehensive solution and services portfolio, the 9 Doors to Digital Leadership®. The strategic partnership with Medius enables Columbus to further help our customers in their digital transformation by optimizing and streamlining their business processes, thus helping them reach their goals for a growing and profitable business”, says Ole Fritze, COO in Columbus.

By leveraging this partnership Columbus’ customers will benefit from an end-to-end invoice automation solution that connects with market leading ERP systems. The Mediusflow solution broadens Columbus’ invoice workflow portfolio which today comprises Columbus’ Invoice Workflow solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 F&O.

With the two offerings in their portfolio, Columbus will be able to serve a diverse section of customers; those who prefer a fully embedded solution in AX/D365, as well as those who wish to benefit from an integrated best-of-breed AP automation solution.

“Combining the power of the MediusFlow AP automation solution with Columbus’ extensive knowledge in efficient business operations will bring true value to our joint customers,” said Per Åkerberg, CEO at Medius. “Columbus’ position as a trusted advisor for their large customer base in a variety of geographies and segments will help further strengthen Medius’ global footprint. We are looking forward to serving Columbus’ customers with a best-of-breed AP automation solution that is pre-connected to major ERP solutions and enables true efficiency and control of the entire accounts payable process.”
