Columbus has appointed Erling Schjetne as Managing Director of its Norwegian business. Erling Schjetne will lead Columbus’ growth strategy in Norway with focus on strengthening its market position, improve customer satisfaction and develop the organization.

Copenhagen, Denmark, 20 April 2020: Erling Schjetne will lead the growth of Columbus’ market share in Norway, thus helping Columbus Norway become a market leader in business-led digital transformation.

Erling Schjetne takes over after Tor Arnstorp, who has decided to step down to meet the retirement life and work less. Erling Schjetne will start in his new role 1 May 2020.

Erling Schjetne will focus on growing the Norwegian business by focusing on driving increased customer value and satisfaction through digital leadership, improved customer experience and creating the best place to work for our employees.

Erling Schjetne comes from a position as Head of Commerce in Columbus Norway and has a proven track record of growing the Commerce business in Norway for the past six years. Combined with his digital commerce expertise, Erling has strong leadership skills and a customer-oriented approach that will help drive the continued progress of the Norwegian business unit.

Erling Schjetne has more than 20 years of experience from the IT services and consulting industry with leadership and sales positions prior to Columbus and iStone, in Bluestone, Software Innovation ASA and Hands.
