Saferoad, one of the leading actors within traffic safety and Work Zone Protection, has created a truly ambitious digital road map to plan for the upcoming years. Digitalization will be key in realizing the strategic target to become the “preferred WZP supplier of products and services”. Columbus is ready to enable this transformation through our extensive knowledge and experience in Litium 8.
The plan is for Saferoad to still work as a local, proactive and service minded supplier, using a range of new digital tools and features. Together with face-to-face interactions, this digital solution will support and enhance business relations for Saferoad.
Columbus was selected as a partner to implement an innovative digital platform that will be the foundation for the upcoming initiatives. The platform will be based on Litium 8, one of the leading systems for Content Management and e-commerce, and a system that Columbus has a lot of experience in:
“We chose Columbus because of their leading expertise in B2B Commerce and Customer portals as well as their strong presence in the Nordic countries. Columbus has a proven track record in realizing digital projects, and we feel safe having them with us on this journey,” says Morten Wergeland Brekke, Vice President at Work Zone Protection.
Saferoad aims to make roads safer to travel through innovation.
“We are very happy to be a part of this journey together with Saferoad. Their digital road map is ambitious, but smartly planned to create clear customer value in several steps. Saferoad is a very customer-focused company with a strong value-driven business where safety is priority number one,” says Filip Lindwall, Head of Sales Digital Commerce at Columbus.
Saferoad Business Area Signs & WZP offers Road Safety Products and Services ranging from traditional traffic signs with masts and gantries, LED signs and technical, road safety products for work zone protection equipment, to work zone protection rental and services.
